BCM50 LAN CTE Licenses enable computer telephony integration on the system. These licenses are a pre user basis and allow users to integrate their database with the BCM to have Pop-ups and customer information when they call.
BCM50 TAPI Service Provider Licenses provide CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) with Microsoft database applications. TAPI or Telephony Application Program Interface is a standard program interface that enables users and computers to communicate via telephone with people elsewhere in the world. TAPI converts industry standard commands received from Windows via BCM TSP into a format that BCM LAN CTE can understand. It also converts messages from BCM LAN CTE into an industry standard format and gives them to Windows.
